  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Dissolve ammonia in a cup with a small amount of hot water and cover.
  3. Cream together sugar and butter.
  4. Add eggs and mix well.
  5. Combine salt, flour, and anise seeds. Mix into wet ingredients.
  6. Add ammonia and mix.
  7. Sprinkle flour on a rolling surface and roll out dough to 6-8 mm thickness.
  8. Cut into shapes and bake for 6-8 minutes.
