Strawberry Shortcake Trifle

Yield

One 8” trifle.

Ingredients

• Three (regular-height) 8” layers of Vanilla Cupcakes.
• One batch of Food Processor Whipped Cream, made with 30 g of freeze-dried strawberries and 480 mL of whipped cream.
• One batch of macerated strawberries, made with 700 g of strawberries.
• One batch of vanilla pastry cream, made with 4 yolks and 480 mL milk.
• Strawberries, for decorating.

Steps

1. Alternate layers of cake, strawberries, pastry cream, and whipped cream.
2. Top with fresh fruit.
